PALMYRA, Wis. (March 21, 2016)—Standard Process Inc.® congratulates MediHerb® for recently receiving the 2015 ABC Varro E. Tyler Commercial Investment in Phytomedical Research Award from the American Botanical Council (ABC). The award recognizes MediHerb, an Integria Healthcare brand, for its research efforts to validate the efficacy of herbal formulas. The award was presented on March 10, at the Natural Products Expo West event in Anaheim, California, during a special ceremony for ABC Sponsor Members.
“My life’s work has been dedicated to truly understanding the phytochemistry of plants and their healing impact in the body,” said Kerry Bone, MediHerb co-founder and research and development director. “This award is a wonderful delight acknowledging MediHerb for all the effort and investment taken in clinical research for the advancement of botanical medicine.”

MediHerb has published 22 human clinical trials and more than 100 research papers on phytochemistry and in vitro studies of botanicals in peer-reviewed journals.
“With the recent advances in phytochemical analysis and pharmacodynamics, it is indeed an exciting time to be doing phytomedicinal research,” said Bone who has dedicated his career to unlocking the healing power of plants with sound clinical experience and rigorous scientific research.
Integria Healthcare invests $5 million annually into herbal research and product development.
“The previous recipients of this award include the world’s leading phytomedicinal companies,” said Hans Wohlmuth, Integria research and development manager. “For MediHerb and Integria Healthcare to be joining this group is enormously rewarding for us.”
