Nab will lead company initiatives in university relations and education
PALMYRA, Wis. (August 16, 2011)—Whole food supplement manufacturer Standard Process Inc. has hired John Nab, D.C., as the company's director of professional development. In his new role, Nab will continue the company's efforts to develop academic partnerships across practitioner disciplines, and further education initiatives.
As a member of Standard Process' senior management team, Nab will be a key contributor to the company's visionary and strategic business planning, helping to drive educational programs that are aligned with the company's long-term growth goals.
Nab has 17 years of executive leadership and strategic development experience to his credit. A 1994 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College (CCC) in Kansas City, Mo., Nab was elected to the CCC board of trustees in 2004. In 2006, Nab joined the leadership team of CCC as a multi-campus officer and ultimately became the college's vice president of institutional advancement and alumni services.
In addition, Nab brings with him tactical business planning and organizational skills that he gained from serving in the financial sector. He was vice president of Gold Bank, a subsidiary of Gold Banc Corp., for 11 years, where he managed multiple business lines and implemented best practices for customers.
Standard Process, recently named a top 100 Southeastern Wisconsin workplace, manufactures whole food supplements that provide specific, nutritional support for the body. The company grows many of its ingredients on its own certified organic farm. Nab joins a team of 285 employees at the company's headquarters in Palmyra, Wis.
